Location: USAG Bavaria Army Health Clinic (Germany) | RAF Lakenheath (United Kingdom)
Start Date: 1 Jun–1 Jul 26 Schedule: Full-Time (On-Site, 5 Days/Week)
Make a Difference Behind the Mission
Do you have hands-on experience with facility management systems and want to bring that expertise to one of Europe's most important U.S. military healthcare networks? French Consulting is seeking a Medical Facility Data Specialist — Level II (Experienced) to provide embedded, on-site DHA Facility Database support at multi-specialist Military Treatment Facilities in the European AOR. At sites with more than one Data Specialist, your experience matters — you help set the standard, support your peers, and ensure the Facility Manager has the data accuracy they depend on.
What You'll Do
Facility Data Management
- You'll maintain DHA Facility Database records across facility and room inventory, equipment, project management, and regulatory compliance modules — keeping all data fields current, accurate, and compliant with DHA standards.
- You'll conduct 100% Room Inventory per DHA taskers, upload drawings within 10 business days of receipt, flag expiring regulatory compliance items monthly, and administer the monthly work request closeout process.
- You'll support active facility requirements in the Requirements Management module, track financial progress of design and construction projects, and maintain accurate Directory module contacts.
- You'll participate in Facility Management Team meetings, Environment of Care tours, and Facility Space Utilization Board sessions, providing DHA Facility Database input and documenting meeting minutes.
- You'll coordinate with the AOR Manager and DHA Program Management on site-specific issues, reporting non-compliance and recommending corrective actions per DHA guidance.
- You'll provide desk-side overviews of the DHA Facility Database to facility management and medical logistics personnel as requested by the Facility Manager.
Who You Are
You are thorough and reliable — you understand that incomplete facility data has real downstream consequences for DHA's capital planning. You communicate professionally with Facility Managers, Operations and Maintenance staff, and DHA personnel, and you know when to ask questions and when to execute. You thrive in a structured, on-site environment where your presence and consistency are the most valuable things you bring to the team every day.
Required Qualifications
All Level I requirements: High school diploma; strong communication, time management, and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; English fluency.
One (1) additional year of experience with DHA facility database systems beyond Level I, OR three (3) years of experience in facility management or facility maintenance.
CAC eligibility within 120 days of hire (favorably adjudicated NACI or equivalent); compliance with applicable SOFA for assigned European location (Germany or United Kingdom).
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience at a multi-specialist DHA facility database site; demonstrated ability to support or informally mentor peer Data Specialists. Prior U.S. military installation or OCONUS work experience; bilingual skills in German or a NATO-partner language.
Why You'll Love It Here
🌍 Live and work on a U.S. military installation in Europe — a professional and personal experience that few people ever get the chance to have.
🇺🇸 Every record you maintain directly supports the readiness of the U.S. military healthcare system abroad — your daily work is genuinely mission-critical.
✈️ May be eligible for SOFA privileges, installation amenities, and stable employment on a funded U.S. government contract in one of the world's most strategically important regions.
