This is a part-time on-call (PTOC) position. (*Substitute and replace personnel for planned and unplanned absences. Personnel should be available on short notice.)

Summary: Administrator needed to provide reception and admin services at Army Community Services (ACS) to US servicemembers, civilians, and their families.  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least one (1) one year of customer service experience in a front desk/ reception office environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to clearly communicate with and inform colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
  • Experience in the use of common software programs and those in use at ACS, specifically Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with ACS services preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO

  • Provide Reception and Administrative Services for Army Community Service. Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting customers in person and on the phone. Identifying what the issue is and referring to the appropriate service provider by appointment or by connecting the customer to the provider in person, by phone, or through a callback request. Contractor will also assist in signing clients up for events for all ACS Departments. Contractors will ensure business cards are available for all ACS staff. Provide Basic Community Information and Referral. Coordinate monthly with ACS staff and other community resources to check for updated information on all programs, events, and marketing information kept by the I&R Program Manager. The Contractor shall assist ACS providers by gathering information and training aids to be shared at events
  • Maintain a sign-in log of walk-in customers, phone calls, and emails,s as well as class rosters
  • Update hard copy and digital files; sort and distribute office mail and marketing
  • Organize/maintain ACS Coupon Program
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness ofthe  office
  • Provide out-processing clearances
  • Provide scheduling/reservation services for classroom and ACS events
  • Start and end of day: Unlock ACS front and back doors and open front window; close and lock at the end of each workday.


DOCPER/SOFA/Logistical Support Status
This position is not eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
