Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist

• Conduct MRI exams safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols.
• Prepare and educate patients, ensuring comfort and compliance.
• Operate MRI equipment, maintain image quality, and monitor patient safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists for accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain sterile supplies, equipment, and infection control standards.
• Participate in required VA training and continuing medical education.
   

• You’re ARRT-certified in MRI or equivalent certification.
• You’re experienced in performing MRI exams for diverse patient populations, including advanced imaging protocols and emergency cases.
• You’re skilled in MRI safety, contrast administration, and patient positioning for high-quality imaging.
• You’re knowledgeable in GE and Philips MRI systems, with PACS workflow experience preferred.
• You’re detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accurate documentation and quality assurance.
• You have strong interpersonal skills to reassure patients and coordinate effectively with radiologists and clinical teams.
• You’re flexible and mission-driven.
   

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MRI certification required; state licensure where applicable.
• Proficient with GE and Philips MRI systems
• Minimum 2–3 years MRI experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, MRI physics, and pathology relevant to imaging protocols.
• Proficient in PACS and EMR systems for documentation and reporting.
• Commitment to ongoing CME/CEU and VA mandatory training requirements.
• Must meet VA credentialing, privileging, and infection control standards.
