Make a Difference Behind the Mission
- French Consulting is hiring an Alternate Contract Manager for Family Advocacy Program prevention education at Camp Darby, near Livorno, Italy. You carry the same credentials and the same authority as the Contract Manager, and you act in full whenever the Contract Manager is unavailable.
- You also back up the Prevention Education Coordinator, so this is a working role with real contact hours. Beyond this program, you will support healthcare program management at our headquarters, including our work toward Joint Commission accreditation.
Back Up Prevention Education
- Teach Family Advocacy Program classes and deliver unit, command team, school, and Child and Youth Services briefings when the Coordinator is unavailable.
- Cover individual sessions for walk-in clients and support education referrals with the Family Advocacy Program Manager and the Medical Treatment Facility clinic.
- Serve as a mandated reporter of child abuse, child neglect, domestic violence, and intimate partner violence, reporting within one hour with a written report inside 24 hours.
- Assume full authority on daily operations whenever the Contract Manager is unavailable, and cover the 0800 to 1700 Monday through Friday window.
- Hold current working knowledge of the quality control plan, the work plan, and the absence coverage plan, so you can act without a handover briefing.
- Take the escalation calls, approve absence coverage, and confirm the monthly reports go out on time.
- Keep your own credentials, accreditation, and training current on the same schedule as the Contract Manager.
- Support healthcare program management at our headquarters across our European programs.
- Contribute to our pursuit of Joint Commission accreditation, including documentation and readiness review.
- You come from social work, counseling, behavioral health, or public health, and you are comfortable teaching as well as managing.
- You stay current on a program you do not run day to day, because this role earns its keep by being ready before the call comes.
- You are steady on an escalation call, and you document what you decided so the handover is clean.
Required
- Bachelor degree from an accredited university in social science, behavioral health, health science education, community health, or public health.
- A minimum of one year of experience in family and children's services or community organization, including experience in family violence.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English at a proficiency of Level 3 or higher.
- Availability from 0800 to 1700 Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. holidays, with authority to decide on the spot.
- Ability to pass a favorable background check and to obtain a Common Access Card and installation access.
- Licensure or certification in social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Experience delivering family violence prevention or child abuse prevention programming.
- Experience covering a program manager across leave and travel on a government contract.
- Experience with healthcare accreditation, quality management, or Joint Commission readiness.
- Working knowledge of Italian or German.
- 🌍 Real authority on a European program, exercised whenever you are the one holding it.
- 🤝 Contact hours and management in one role, on a team small enough that both are visible.
- 📈 A path into headquarters healthcare program management and accreditation work.
- If you're ready to make a real difference in the lives of military families in Europe, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and bring your expertise, judgment, and dedication to a team that values your contribution.
