Job Opportunity: Catholic Religious Education Coordinator
Location: Stuttgart, Germany
Start Date: Immediate
Schedule: Part-Time On-Call
This is a part-time on-call (PTOC) position. (*Substitute and replace personnel for planned and unplanned absences at the Administrative office. Personnel should be available on short notice.)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating sacramental programs, RCIA, catechist/teacher training, and youth programs
- Planning seasonal events like Vacation Bible School, Christmas Pageants, and Stations of the Cross
- Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, attendance tracking, facility requests, and budgeting
- Working closely with the Catholic Chaplain and Chapel staff to support the overall program
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A familiarity with the Catholic Faith and practice as articulated by the documents of The Second Vatican Council and the subsequent statements of the American Conference of
- Catholic Bishops is preferred.
- A Roman Catholic faith is preferred but not mandatory.
- Possess an exemplary moral character.
- Two years’ experience working in an office environment
- Possess an Associate’s Degree or equivalent education/training.
- Experience in teaching.
- Have excellent organization and planning skills.
- Possess basic word-processing skills.
- Experience working in a military environment is preferred.
- Must have a working knowledge of applicable Army Regulation AR-165-1 and be familiar with the Chapel Tithes and Offerings Fund CTOF.
- Contractor must be willing to work in a pluralistic environment where they may come in contact with members from various faith groups and/or viewpoints.
DOCPER/SOFA/Logistical Support Status
This position is not eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
